Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, made her first public appearance since her hospitalization for acute morning sickness that was caused by her pregnancy.
This Sunday night, the Duchess presented awards on the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year Awards in London, which were broadcasted throughout Britain.
Middleton wore a dark green Alexander McQueen dress, which had bell sleeves that cut off near the wrist and a flat stomach that revealed Middleton is still very thin and not yet showing. She seemed composed and comfortable, showing no signs of the acute morning sickness that had led to her recent hospitalization.
Middleton was hospitalized for three nights starting on Dec. 3 and while she is feeling better, she is still unable to stay for long engagements.
According to Us Weekly, although the Duchess appeared “determined,” she could not confirm her appearance until the “last minute.”
