Hong Kong-based Hosanna Foundation is offering a course called “The Master’s Chambers” to provide leadership training to young working professionals in Hong Kong.
Hosanna Foundation is a charitable organization with board members from mainland China and oversea cities from around the world. It is strategically working to harness and optimize the strengths of the indigenous methods that have been cultivated within the church of China. Its focuses will be on building and strengthening leadership at all levels.
Dr. David Yi-Ping Wang, founder of Hosanna Foundation, will be teaching this course with other master instructors from various fields, including Hung Fook Tong executive director Dr. Ricky Szeto, Hong Kong University Postgraduate Certificate in Law lecturer Zhi-Yang Wu, Drucker School lecturer Zhi-Gang Li, influential director Alfred Cheung, retired judge Su-Xian Chen, and New Testament theologian Dr. Tian-En Yang. In addition, other professionals will join in on the lectures as well.
Wang is also the cofounder and president emeritus of Asian Outreach International. Having served in China missions since 1966, he is one of the most knowledgeable experts on the church in the People’s Republic of China and is a must sought-after speaker at international mission conventions.
With the theme “Leadership Development: Struggles and Practice”, the course targets a wide range of participants, but primarily those with a basic foundation and still want to improve and learn more; those who are not interested in mainstream academic institutions; those who want to know the secrets of success in a casual and fun environment; those who want to meet new people in order to exchange knowledge and ideas.
The topics include compromise and persistence, speech and sharing, foundation and achievement, character and principle, completion and imbalance, power and abilities, danger and opportunity, individual and teamwork, career and ministry, creativity and persistence, appeal and truth, restless and retreat.
“The Master‘s Chambers” offers an appealing learning model, where students learn in small groups. Participants not only get to listen to David Wang and other leaders, but are also encouraged to participate and ask questions. There will be discussions, case studies and personal coaching during class. Wang hopes that through exchanging ideas and insights, participants will become more equipped to become well-rounded and excellent leaders.
“The Master’s Chambers” will be held at Victory Avenue, 212, Homantin, Kowloon. It costs $1,600 HKD, which is half price from the original cost of $3,200. The schedule is as follows: Nov, 3rd, 10th, December 1st, 8th from 3pm to 6pm (afternoon tea provided).
