Joseph, from the Old Testament portion of the Bible, was a man who followed God, even when things were hard. Joseph honored God no matter what. Joseph was faithful to God as a son, as a household servant, and as a wrongfully accused prisoner. Joseph never wavered in his faith even in the most difficult circumstances, and so God elevated him to second in command of the entire country!
No matter where you are, no matter what you’re doing, God can use you. Where has God placed you? It may not seem important, but it is! You matter to God, and He has you right where you are for a reason. He knows exactly what He’s doing. The Bible says in James, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
God rewarded Joseph’s faith in a humble situation by blessing him with a position of power and authority! Trust God, even when it’s difficult. You will be amazed at the result! Your faith and commitment to God will be a testimony to those in your life. When people ask why you have peace and joy in a difficult situation, you can tell them the Good News of Jesus Christ.
