A large-scale Christian documentary on the credibility and authenticity of Biblical records produced from an archaeological perspective has been airing on a major television station in Hong Kong during prime time.

Produced by an international Chinese Christian media company, The Media Evangelism Limited, the documentary titled “In the Beginning was the Word” has been broadcasted to all viewers in Hong Kong on Asia Television Limited (aTV) every Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., beginning February 27.

As the host of the film, Christian celebrity Fiona Leung will bring the viewers throughout Israel, Egypt, and other Holy Ground sites.

According to TMEA, this special documentary features ten difficult yet precious film footages in Israel and Egypt that has been paired with computer animation technology and produced using high definition technology; such combination is a major breakthrough for Chinese film production teams.

In the introduction of the documentary, Media Evangelism stated that there is no other religious text in the world that dare to predict what will happen in the future, but the around 27 per cent of the Bible’s contents are prophecies, and some experts on prophecies said that over a thousand prophecies recorded in the Bible from several thousand years ago have been fulfilled.

Featuring Jerusalem and old City of David, the documentary will show scenes that overlook the Nile River, pass through the Valley of the Kings, cross the Sahara Desert, in order to testify the fulfillment of the Biblical prophecies through the actual historical events that took place in the Holy Land.
