Without any limbs, with only a torso and two toes, Australian evangelist Nick Vujicic, 26 year old, will share with 32,000 people in Hong Kong the miracles in life at evangelism conference “With Faith, You can Fly!” at the Asia Exhibition Hall on Nov. 7.
Born in Australia, Nick has proven that his life is not worthless. He diligently uses his torso and two toes to eat, dress, swim, ride horses, play soccer, and etc. Nothing can stop him. In addition, he obtained two college degrees and received the Australian Youth Award of Excellence in 2005. Presently, he is traveling to different countries and has shared with people in over 20 countries of life stories, touching over millions of people.
When asked of where does he receives such kind of unyielding determination, Nick said that it is God who allowed him to have such unique life and it is to fulfill God’s will.
“If someone tempts me with millions of dollars for me to have arms and legs, I will not both to consider. I only want to obey God, and accomplish the will that He has on me,” said the limbless evangelist.
Last week at a press conference, Nick smiled confidently and shared his testimony with the people in Hong Kong, “There are storms in life, but maybe you haven’t gained victory. Before when I was eight year old, I said to myself that things will get better when I turn 16, but at 16 I still had many problems, so I thought that there won’t be any problems in college, but after completing college there are still problems. Then, I said to myself that after marriage things will get resolved. But we all know that if we’re unhappy as a single, then it will be the same after marriage, actually everyone has this kind of handicap. Whether you have arms and legs or without them, with or without any obsessions, we all have fears, and this is the greatest reason for God’s help. Life is always going to be difficult like climbing the mountain, but the higher you climb, the more you will see.”
An influential Cantonese celebrity Sheren Tang who showed up at the press conference said, “No need to say too much, just standing there and that’s saying a lot to everyone, why is it that one who looks so handicapped can be so abundant and joyful, all of these can give a very positive influence to the youth…..the part that touches me is that a person with only his body and without any limbs can be more happy than I am and have more vitality.”
Good News Communications organized this event hoping that the youth and those in hardships can be encouraged through this evangelistic event. Over 32,000 tickets to the conference have been sold out, showing Nick’s amazing attraction.
