The upcoming November’s ballot is an ever-crucial time for saving traditional marriage. If sufficient number of people are mobilized to vote to pass Proposition 8, then the ruling made in May of this year by the California Supreme Court legalizing same-sex marriage will be overturned. Since this is the last chance for California voters to overturn this ruling, the situation is imperative. In response, Bay Area Chinese Christian churches and ministries are initiating the movement to “Save Marriage, Save Descendants."
Beginning from Sept. 28 thru Oct. 19, three large scale events will be held on three consecutive Sunday services. They are the joint prayer meetings, San Francisco meetings, and all Bay Area Protect Traditional Marriage march, urging all believers in Bay Area and Asians to defend the “one man and one woman traditional marriage” and mobilizing everyone to “use their rights as citizens, register to vote, and vote to protect the holy marriage.”
