Marking the Valentine’s Day, a pro-family group organized a state-wide tour to promote traditional marriage in California amid attack of the prevailing homosexual movement.
Campaign for Children and Families (CCF) is going to hold "Real Marriage" news conferences in 11 California cities, namely Bakersfield, Fresno, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Maria, Salinas, and Visalia, from Feb. 9-15, according to a press statement.
The news conferences aim to "defend the sacred institution of marriage," particularly when many homosexual activists have scheduled demonstrations on Valentine’s Day at county government offices demanding "marriage" licenses.
CCF President Randy Thomasson has spearheaded in leading the entire tour. His speech reminds Californians of "the beauty, exclusivity, and necessity of honoring marriage for one man and one woman."
"The bad news is that the California Supreme Court and the California State Legislature are preparing to invent homosexual ‘marriages’ and impose them on every community for every child to see," warned Thomasson while calling on people to support the VoteYesMarriage.com amendment to permanently protect marriage rights for one man and one woman only in the California State Constitution.
CCF does not only represent the voice of only Americans, but it tries its best to reflect the voice of many other ethnic groups living in California. White, black, Latino and Asian speakers were invited to speak at different cities during the tour, so that all people are united in one voice to protect traditional marriage.
According to the U.S.-based Chinese online newspaper World Journal, an Asian woman named Chang spoke on the Feb. 10 conference together with his Caucasian husband Chris Krive. Chang said that most Chinese opposes same-sex marriage as the union between one man and one woman in marriage is deeply embedded in Chinese traditional culture, and that is the only way compatible to nature.
In addition, Chang pointed out that God’s will is to see one man and one woman becomes one in marriage. If Americans disobey God’s commandment, the country will not be blessed by God anymore.
