On Thursday, Oct. 21, President of Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), Kevin Swanson announced that MAF’s headquarters will be moved to the Boise, Idaho area in the July-August 2005 timeframe.
“The ministry of MAF stands to be significantly enhanced by positioning our headquarters and home staff in a more economical location,” Mr.Swanson affirmed. “This move will reduce headquarters overhead significantly and will provide added opportunities to expand the ministry in the places that God has called us to serve.”
The announcement was made via email and in a chapel service dedicated to a group of new missionaries. Currently, the ministry is planning to initiate a capital campaign aiming to raise fund to assist the relocation of the headquarters.
