Sponsored by Milestone Ministries, a fully loaded children’s playhouse has been built to give to the winner of a ticket drawing event. Tickets to win the house are $2 each, and become less expensive the more one buys. The final drawing for the winner of the house will take place in Hot Springs on Dec. 18.
The building and giving of the playhouse is part of Project H.O.M.E. (Helping Others Made Easy). The proceeds generated by ticket buyers will be divided between the Children's Miracle Network and Crossgate Christian Academy Scholarship Fund.
The playhouse has a chandelier, a working doorbell, a television, DVD/VCR player, appliances and a garage door opener. The garage will only be able to house two small electric cars.
Mary Simmons, a volunteer with Milestone Ministries says, "It is built like a trailer home, but it is decorated like a real home. "
The house will be delivered to the winner's home and will be connected to water and electricity.
