Assemblies of God youth leaders across the nation will gather for the 2004 National Youth Workers Conference on September 23-25 at the Adams Mark Hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The conference will feature more than 70 workshops and speakers, including topics such as Administration/Staff Relationships, Students in Missions, and Multimedia on a Budget. Several experienced youth workers such as Thomas Trask, general superintendent of the Assemblies of God, are among those set to lead the workshops and general sessions.
The gathering will also celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Youth Alive, an Assemblies of God student-led campus ministry, with a special banquet on the second day of the conference.
"This conference will powerfully impact any youth worker," says Tom Greene, National Youth Director. "The general sessions and workshops are designed to promote an attitude of worship and motivation and will facilitate interaction between conference participants."
Other highlights include worship with the Terry Kelley band and a national Speed the Light banquet, reported Assemblies of God.
Attendees will also get to take home an abundance of resources for their work. Tom Greene said, "Bring an extra suitcase for all the free books and resources you will be taking home."
The Assemblies of God 2005 National Youth Convention is scheduled for Aug. 2-6 in Denver, Colorado.
